By connecting to a high-order device (PC, PLC, etc.) via a communication unit (setting communication unit), you can remotely monitor, control, and set detailed parameter for the JW series thyristor regulator.
In particular, including the advanced control settings you mentioned, operation can:
-
Remote setting (write) of various parameter:
- Slope setting: gradient of the output characteristic relative to the input can be set in the range of 0% to 100%.
- Elevation setting: Adds bias (base power) to the output, allowing you to set the output value from 0% to 100% when the input is 0%.
- Manual output value (manual setting value): The output value during manual operation can be set in the range of 0.0% to 100.0%.
- current limit value: higher limit limit of load current can be set in the range of 0% to 100% to prevent current.
- Soft start time: The time it takes for the output to reach 100% from 0% can be set between approximately 1.0 and 20.0 seconds.
-
control method/ feedback method switching (write):
- control method (phase control /frequency division control) switching: Phase control and low-noise frequency division control can be switched.
- feedback method selection: Voltage, current, power, or no feedback (OFF) can be selected.
-
control the operating state (write):
- Run/Stop: The operation status (RUN/STOP) can be switched remotely.
- Automatic/Manual Output: It is possible to switch between automatic output (AUTO) based on control input signal and manual output (MANU) based on the manual setting value.
-
Centralized monitoring (read) of operation and load status:
- Acquisition of measurement values: analog data such as load voltage, load current, power value, load resistance value, and initial resistance value can be read out in real time.
- Obtain alarm status: Read out the occurrence status of various alarms, such as over current alarms, heater disconnection alarms, thyristor element anomalies, rapid fuse blown out, phase loss alarms, and phase order anomalies.
