The greatest feature of the KP2500 is that specifications of remote contact input have been significantly improved to make it easier to replace older equipment from other companies.

Benefits of independent operation/stop signals (details)

In the standard specifications of the previous KP2000, operation start (RUN) and stop/pause (equivalent to STOP/HOLD) were switched by the rising and falling edges of a single signal (contact).

However, with the KP2500, the start (RUN) and stop (STOP) (equivalent to HOLD) signals have been changed so that they can be received independently from separate terminal.
This makes it easier to issue instructions from external control devices, significantly reducing the amount of work required to update (replace) existing control systems.

In addition to RUN and STOP, the following operation can also be driven by external signals.
These operation are driven by a one-shot contact signal (momentary signal).

• RESET reset

Forward/reverse switching function

It also has a forward/reverse switching function to change the direction of the machine's operation.

• If terminal is opened: reverse operation
• If terminal are shorted: direct operation

3. Basic functions (backing up high performance)

The KP2500 offers high basic performance and reliability as a digital program controller.

• Program capacity: Up to 19 patterns/29 step of operating procedure can be precisely set and execution.
• Output type: The "operation type" can be switched depending on the control target and application, such as on-off pulse output or SSR drive pulse output.
• Alarm action: If a waiting time alarm occurs during operation, the subsequent action is set to automatically proceed to the next step.
• Versatility: The KP series is designed as a general-purpose product for general industrial applications and is used in a wide range of industries (however, it is not intended for use in applications involving human life or property, such as nuclear power or medical equipment).
