Engine valve manufacturing high frequency induction heating furnace control device configuration diagram

High-frequency heating furnaces (induction heating furnaces) are used to heat metals by themselves without contact, and are used for brazing, melting, hardening, annealing, etc. In this configuration, the core material of an automobile engine valve is being hardened.

configuration

configuration diagram

The basic configuration of the device are a power source, a heating coil, and an engine valve (the object to be heated).
The power supply passes an alternating current through the coil, generating a magnetic field.
When a material is placed inside the coil, the magnetic field generates eddy current in the material, causing them to heat only in the area you want to heat, without any physical contact between the coil and the material.

What is an Engine Valve?

An engine moves the piston up and down by burning the air and fuel drawn into the cylinder, and expels the gases generated during this process to the outside. The engine valves control the intake and exhaust of this engine.
