Calibration Guidelines
Terms and Conditions
Regarding procedures for handling cases where the item submitted for calibration malfunction, damaged, or otherwise has other issues that hinder calibration.
- If a calibration request item malfunction or is damaged due to our fault, we will repair it if possible, and if it is irreparable, we will compensate you up to the equivalent of the book value of the calibration request item under the Companies Act.
Please note that we cannot compensate for any indirect damages resulting from malfunction or damage to the items submitted for calibration.
- We shall not be held liable if the calibration equipment malfunction or is damaged due to deterioration, wear and tear, or other reasons related to its lifespan, including years of use or usage environment, or if the equipment was already malfunction when we received it, including malfunction or damage during transportation.
- If a returned calibration product is found to be malfunction, we will not be held liable unless the fault is clearly ours.
- If the item to be calibrated is dirty or contaminated with foreign matter, which could hinder the calibration process or pose a risk of contaminating the calibration equipment, we may refuse to perform the calibration.
- If you cancel the calibration after receiving the calibration sample, including due to malfunction of the sample, you will be responsible for the fees stipulated in our regulations.
- In the event of any other issues or concerns not covered above, we will consult with the customer and take appropriate action.
