Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Are there any points to be aware of when setting parameter from a high-order device?

Precautions when setting (write) parameter

When setting (write) parameter from the high-order device (master unit), please note the following points.

  1. key lock presetting: When setting (writing) parameter, the setting communication unit must be set to key lock state beforehand. If you try execution parameters from a high-order device when key lock (non-lock) state is not set, the error code "12H" will be returned.
  2. Setting Priority: For parameter that can be configured in both the configuration communication unit and the main unit (JW unit) (e.g., gradient, elevation, etc.), you must designate which setting is enabled in the Priority setting (reference numbers 1003, 1004, 1005).
  3. reset when switching control: If you switch control method (phase/frequency division) or feedback method via communication, the JW main unit may perform reset. In this case, please wait a sufficient amount of time (3 seconds or more is recommended) until reset is complete before sending the next command.
  4. Error during continuous write: If a communication error (error code 09H) occurs during continuous data write, you will need to reset the settings and write the data again.
