Important Notice Regarding the Email Function of the MD8000/MZ Receiver

To MD8000/MZ Series Users

Thank you very much for your continued patronage of our products.

Due to changes in Microsoft's security specifications (*1), the MD800R-00L and MZ-G10 email sending server
For customers using the cloud email service "Microsoft Exchange Online,"
From April 2026 onwards You will no longer be able to use the email sending function of the affected products.

The scope of the impact and how to deal with it are explained below.

Impact details

Applicable products MD8000 receiver (model: MD800R-00L)
MZ receiver (model: MZ-G10) *The email function of the PC app is not included as it will be supported in the future.
Target Features A function to send emails from the device when a temperature alarm or other warning occurs
*This will not affect users using email servers other than Exchange Online.
Solution Please change the settings of your outgoing mail server to something other than Exchange Online.
Points to note
  • You can continue to receive emails.
  • The target is the configured server name "smtp.office365.com".
  • You can continue to use the email function of the MD8000 PC app by resetting it.
