Electronic reference junction temperature compensator TO

TO is an electronic reference junction temperature compensator that inserts a temperature-sensitive resistance into a bridge circuit to generate a thermoelectric voltage equivalent to the reference junction temperature (terminal temperature of this device).

Electronic type is easier to handle than ice-cooled type.

It can be used as a thermocouple reference junction compensator or for calibrating instrument scale.
Smaller and lighter (approximately 250g) design compared to ice-cooled systems.
