If impurities clog the exhaust gas passage inside the chimney, the gas being burned inside the chimney becomes difficult to flow through, causing the temperature inside the chimney to rise. Temperature sensors measure the temperature at two points, the top and bottom, of the 70m-tall chimney, and the MD8000 transmitter wirelessly transmits the data to a receiver connected to a PC. Data is collected automatically, so it is possible to check which chimneys are clogged on the included application software without going to the site, allowing for efficient chimney maintenance.
If the temperature inside the chimney rises, it will deteriorate and the cost of regular repairs will increase. However, since the temperature is measured at a high altitude of 70m, it is dangerous and time-consuming for a person to go and check the temperature regularly. The Wireless Watcher MD8000 Series transmits the measured data wirelessly to the receiver, allowing for safe and efficient temperature monitoring. The receiver's contact output function can sound an alarm or notification an email in the event of an abnormality.
