Compensating Wire

Thermocouple compensating wire is a substitute wire used to connections thermocouples to recorders, controllers, etc., with thermoelectromotive force characteristic similar to those of thermocouples. Dedicated wires are used according to the type of thermocouple and the operating temperature range. (Wires other than compensating wires will cause errors.)
